Above is a quetzal, painted on the mural shown below. This is the bird for which the resort is named, and lucky visitors may get to see this bird in the wild.
Here is the left-hand door of the outbuilding with the mural containing the quetzal. Tomorrow I'll show you the right-hand door along with several of its painted birds.
