Like any other human-created image or sculpture, the art depicting animals in museums can be good, bad, or mediocre. I found that the displays at the San Diego Natural History Musem were beyond good, they were notably inspiring. Not only were these animal depictions realistic-looking, but also the poses made them come to life and their placement was artistic and unexpected. Here's another post on this fabulous museum.
